BULLYING.
A child may indicate by signs or behaviour that he or she is being bullied. Children may,

Be unwilling to go to school or frightened of walking to or from school.
Begin doing poorly in their school work.
Come home hungry because their dinner money was taken.
Become withdrawn, start stammering, stop eating or distressed.
Attempt suicide.
Have nightmares.
Have unexplained bruises , cuts or scratches.
Ask for or begin stealing money to pay the bully.

These are only a few of the possible first signs.
BULLIES. Children can become bullies for many reasons. They,

Like the feeling of power.
Feel insecure, inadequate, humiliated.
Are scapegoats or bullied at home.
Don't fit in with other kids.
Feel no sense of accomplishment.

There are several other reasons.
IF YOUR CHILD IS A BULLY.
Remain calm.
Don’t bully or hit your child.
If the situation is not serious, give it time to sort itself out.
Talk to teachers, friends and others that may have information.
Set realistic guidelines and rules.
Don’t hesitate to get help.
